Probate
Often there are other procedures available that may provide a cost savings for the family. If a court proceeding is advisable, we prepare the petition, secure the acknowledgments and consents of the other family members and provide the executor, or administrator, with the documentation they need to take to the court to qualify. We will then assist the executor or administrator with any questions that come up during the administration such as preparing deeds to transfer title to real estate or how to apply for life insurance proceeds.

In Georgia, probate is a very simple and inexpensive process. We assist clients who have lost a loved one with administering the estate. This may include probating a Will or securing letters of administration if there is no Will or advising the family that a court proceeding is not necessary and that it is sufficient just to file the Will.
