Howard Lessinger has practiced law with McLain & Merritt, PC for over 30 years. He is a 1977 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law where he served on the editorial board of the Georgia Law Review. He specializes in tort litigation on behalf of self-insureds and insureds, with an emphasis on premises liability, product and pharmacy liability, trucking liability and mass tort litigation. Mr. Lessinger represents some of the nation's largest retailers and liability insurers in federal and state courts throughout Georgia, and has defended product liability and pharmaceutical cases in multidistrict litigation. He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, and all Georgia appellate and trial courts. Mr. Lessinger has extensive trial experience, including twelve jury trials in one calendar year.
